With Solas now vowing to tear down the Veil and merge the Fade and the waking world, in Dragon Age 4, we'll likely see some, if not all, of these gods, make their appearance. He had sealed the rest of the gods away in anger for their killing of Mythal and had created the Veil in the process, to separate the Fade, the world of dreams, from the real world, banishing them forever. Solas then went one further and revealed himself to be one of the Elven Pantheon, the Dread wolf, Fen'harel.
This is in line with most of the mythology in Dragon Age, with many stories having alternative tellings.
The Dalish, roving bands of elves who keep the history of the people, had it wrong - in reality, their gods were powerful mages, who had enslaved their people. Though most survive in the poorest fringes of human cities, others live as nomads known as the Dalish. Selecting the Elf will give the following dialogue: 'Elves are a historically oppressed people, distinguishable by their lithe frames and pointed ears. All this changed when Solas, one of the player's companions in Inquisition, revealed their mythos to be built on lies. Elf is a playable race in Dragon Age 3: Inquisition. Until Dragon Age Inquisition, the elven Gods in Dragon Age were your classic pantheon of Gods and Goddesses.
